I have the same problem.
OS: Windows 11 23H2 22631.3880
BSOD error info: driver_irql_not_less_or_equal netio.sys
When I turn on the game accelerator and open a few web pages with adguard on, the computer will immediately turn into a blue screen state.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I've had two crashes so far, both with the DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error. In my latest crash dump, I noticed the driver adgnetworkwfpdrv and found this GitHub page.
I’m running the stable version 7.18.1 on Win 11 23H2 22631.3880.

I experienced this netio.sys BSOD once about a week ago (which is the first BSOD I've had in literally years) while watching a YouTube livestream in Chrome. I didn't see this topic until now, so me too. It only happened once though and haven't been able to cause it again. Using Windows 11 24H2 and Windows Defender.

@AngryBoT1229

I have expericenced similar problems, netio.sys BSOD about two times and adgnetworkwfpdrv.sys BSOD one time so far.

AdGuard Version : 7.18.1
OS: Win11 23H2 22631.3880

I decided to uninstall the Adguard now to see if the BSOD occur again or not.

After I disabled the WFA driver, everything returned to normal and there was no BSOD.

Dear Sirs,
could you please provide us any estimated time for this issue? It makes absolutely impossible to use Adguard as it leads to crash every time i use it.

@AyratSaubanov , as a temporarily solution you can enable TDI driver. As for solution time's estimate - we'll try to do our best and fix it asap, I guess with a couple of weeks

Just wanted to hop in and say that this issue is present for me as well on 7.18.1 I've only started hitting this over the last week or so but I might have been lucky prior.

Here are some minidumps for reference.

Starting to see it happen a little more too now (twice within a few days), also on 7.18.1. When a fix lands in nightly, hopefully it also quickly lands in beta too, but it really needs it.

shulymn commented Aug 14, 2024

Can confirm it is an issue caused by the WFP driver.
A while ago i switched from 1gbps internet to 2.5gbps internet and I discovered that adguard was limiting my browser speed to ~1.2gbps. I contacted adguard's team and they told me to activate the WFP driver.
It fixed the speed problem but caused BSODs, so i reverted back.
Now the WFP driver is activated by default when you install Adguard.

I am experiencing the same BSOD problem(version 7.18.1). I first noticed it on my stationary PC and thought it was an issue with the PC itself. However, when I started working on my laptop, I observed the same crashes occurring while browsing the internet using Firefox. The only thing in common they have is the AdGuard. Pretty sure 7.17.* had no issue as I started to get the BSODs recently.

I have to wonder what other security software people are using. Maybe there's a conflict.

In my case, it seems that my system crash issues with AdGuard went away when I stopped using Avast. Don't laugh, I was stupid. I've since switched to using nothing but Windows Defender.

@BooBerry

It happened to me using only Windows Defender. It hasn't happened with the last few nightlies yet but I'm watching for it.

AdGuard Version : 7.19 beta 2
OS: Win11 Pro 24H2 (Build 26100.2033)

No problems with Windows 11 Pro, 23H2 (Build 22631.4249).
BSOD started 3 days ago, after the upgrade to Windows 11 Pro, 24H2, (Build 26100.1882).

I didn't see this topic until now, and as temporary workarouund I followed the adbuker advice ( commented on Aug 6):

I get BSODs on my two laptops, but my PC works just fine.
Most of the errors are related to the power management somehow when the laptop tries to shut off the display or occasionally when I open new tabs in the browser.
Removing Adguard gets rid of the BSODs, so there's that.

This has been going on for a few years, more often on W11 than on W10.
Edit: reading above that someone has had issues when opening twitch tabs, I can confirm that it happened to me too on twitch most of the time if not all the time. Last BSOD related to the tabs (Edge and Chrome) was a couple months back.
