It’s not entirely clear that you would like people to contribute entries.

Contributions were very welcome, but this repos is currently a bit in limbo:

We recently created a website for DT (http://definitelytyped.org/), and I copied most of the typescript-directory content there to bulk it out, seemed the thing to do.

There is a lingering ticket #10 open on the migration of this repos.

As it was stalling I emailed the other org members just now for some prio to get a decision to make this part of the site ready for contributions.

Cool, I think it would be valuable to have this fleshed out more, because the question about real-word TypeScript projects comes up frequently. Once you have this set up, you may also want to spread the word that you are looking for TS projects (e.g. ping me and, possibly, @TypeScriptLang on Twitter).

Oh yes, certainly.

So the past week we've updated the site infrastructure and made it ready to accept contributions. The directory pages are moved to their own section now.

The site is generated with docpad, with content in markdown and a Travis-CI deployment, so it should be easy to add links. It's even possible to add links from within the minimal code editor on Github.com.

We've added a website-contribution-page, a detailed readme, a fork-me-on-github banner, the whole thing.

I'm starting to put the word out to various forums that we've updated and are ready for contributions, especially to the TypeScript directory.

All this will turn up on social media soonish, Twitter pings will follow too.

So if you feel a need or know people who are interested then please go ahead, the game is on :)

And out of personal curiosity: are you doing TypeScript these days? (of course I read you JS blog).
