Automatic backups

Ability to choose whether to activate the automatic backup or not, and to have the ability to create a backup after a change is made or every certain period of time.

This is a must have feature, I am currently trying to find a way to make it work on all systems. It's no problem on Windows/Linux, but Android's file management doesn't make it simple.

Next step planned is attempting a Flathub (and perhaps AUR) release, #10. The issue will be closed, with major stable release mentioned when it becomes available.

I have been testing this capability and it works great. Could you add (if you consider it useful, or necessary) an option to "Automatically save on change detection"?

I am not sure if there's any point in implementing that. For one, the implementation seems confusing to me from the technical point of view. Another thing is that I already have plans to implement the version control history, which would remove the need for such a feature in the first place.
