Upgrading package via package manager causes client to stop working #453

Daemon restarts, but client that started before the daemon is unable to restart itself - this means that a restart is required to get gestures back.

It would be better if there was some way for the client process to be able to restart as well, so that system upgrades do not break gestures for the session.

Not sure of the best way to implement this, however...

I'm not even sure if this is possible. I don't think it is a good practice to restart a user process from the installer... I'm open to ideas 😄

I think that this would be resolved by using D-Bus activation (#457) ?

Probably, because if D-Bus activation were in place, the deb package shouldn't need to restart the service after and update.

I wasn't able to implement D-Bus activation though... I'll try to look into it again
