Which one is the best? Preferably running Linux and is easy to telnet into.

I'm not sure which one was originally used with the coffee script, but I'd assume any coffee maker with smart home integration would be pretty easy to get into.

The coffee mechine should support the protocol "Hyper Text Coffee Pot Control Protocol", haha.

I recommend the Mr. Coffee Smart Coffeemaker.

I looked a the PDF specs on all the coffee makers they had and none had any documentation about them having network connectivity.

amazon appears to have a coffee maker that is wifi enabled, but it appears to be controlled by a smartphone app.

I'm sure a skilled enough developer with experienced with dumping firmware can probably find a way to pop a shell on it though since it's IOT and all.
