I don't know why, but I always look how many 3rd party websites I am blocking when visiting a website, it just feels good being free from all that facebook and google garbage on every website.

It would be nice to have a small counter on the icon :)

@blingy: Do you want to have it explicitly on the icon? Counters are in the menu itself – have a look at the image here: #484 (comment)

feel free if you still want this feature and counters in the menu itself are not enough for you.
