Thanks very much for your suggestion.
Partly by privacy reasons I prefer xIFr ain't running on a page until the user itself activates it from browser's context menu. But also, if xIFr was scanning all image files on every page you visit, it would slow down the browser performance in general.
You could of course argue it could be an optional feature, so I leave request open. But it is not something to expect prioritized. At least not any time soon.
