Will compression of the appvars ever be possible?

In order to keep the quality of the pictures as good as possible, I won't really be looking into compression methods.
If you don't mind compromising quality for file size, you can try a picture viewing program that offers many different types of compression. You can check it out here: http://ceme.tech/DL1929
