Currently, the MATLAB and the MCCL releases are created by running a PowerShell script in the main VTS library. The MCCL needs to remain in the VTS repository because it facilitates the development of new functionality (detectors, sources, etc.). We separated out the MCCL into a separate repository but we nest the repositories to keep them in sync which works well but is not an ideal solution.
Some of the MATLAB scripts are also used to validate the MCCL during the release process, these scripts are also included in the MATLAB interoperability release.
