how do i save a game to play it later if my tab closes. i am confused with the export files

should i press export all saves or go into existing files? i tried export all saves and then imported that file and it did nothing even after restarting

For me at least (Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge on Windows 11), most games keep in-game saves between browser sessions. Metroid Zero Mission, Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, and Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land (and possibly more) are unable to load saves, and the dev is unable to fix this (see Issue #39).
