Use (Gr)avatars

In connection with the user profiles (#152) we could show avatars for each user. If we would use Gravatar we wouldn't have to check the avatars for illegal or copyrighted content (I guess). Also it provides a convenient mechanism to show recognizable default avatars. Implementation is also fairly easy with just pointing to a url in connection with the hash of the user mail.
