- Built a course-based textbook shopping website supporting over 1200 colleges. Users specify their courses, we look up their required books and find the best way to buy them online.
- Wrote the PHP/MySQL backend, using a custom MVC, Propel ORM, and Memcached.
- Wrote real-time piecemeal bookstore scrapers handling JavaScript and cookies.
- Managed our Linux server.

- Designed and wrote AskQ, a Semantic MediaWiki extension that translates plain-text queries into structured queries based on known data and adds faceted browsing to query results, using PHP, MySQL, and jQuery.
