  • Added support for sorting based on the accumulated count of item type. It can be selected in Mod Settings -> Sort Order there are two variants Item Count Ascending and Item Count Descending.

    It also can be used in custom rules like this ::accumulated_count(number_order = ascending), by default the rule is in descending order.

  • Added full support for Carpet's stacable empty shulker boxes. Works only in 1.18-1.19. Doesn't support the forge port of Carpet. You need to have carpet installed on the client. 1.16 is not supported due to limitations in Carpet for that version of minecraft.

  • Other oversized stacks are now always left in their original positions when sorting.

  • workaround for Vault Hunters problem where a stack NBT will sometimes be set to null sometimes to empty CompoundNBT. Witch was breaking auto refill.
  • fixed quick locked slot key not saving the locked slots
  • fixed default sort to sort by the order of the search tab of the creative menu. This will change the default sort.
  • workaround for MacOS OpenGL strangeness that caused locked slots, swipe move/throw and tooltips mostly not work on forge builds.

  • fixed fabric 1.16.x build to support Java 8.
  • Most boolean settings can now be assigned hot key to toggle them in game. GUI settings require reopen of the current GUI.

  • Added support for named items in profiles.

    Although the example below uses netherite pickaxe we don't really recommend it. Names would be useful for items like backpacks or even shulker boxes or other type of items where there is no other meaningful way to distinguish between them.

  • config folder structure have been changed, now all files related to a server/world are located in a folder named after the server/world. All old configurations will be updated. However, if you downgrade to old version the configurations will need to be moved manually.

  • License was changed to AGPL-3. This was made, so it will be license violation, if in future OverWolf/CurseForge decide to fully cut off third party launchers.
  • There are now about 740 other mod UIs that have custom button positioning.
  • Extended the Modpack Dev tools (see the video). We now offer a tool that will create a platform containing all blocks that we have detected to open a UI. Modpack Devs can use this to check if there are un/supported UIs and use the editor to move the buttons. Also the player will get all the items that potentially open a UI.   • New release because the last one was bodged by GihHub Action resulting invalid jar files. First forge builds had problems then some fabric builds are not working for some players. As result github actions will no longer be used for releasing.

Warning.

Due to changes in 1.18.2 existing custom sort rules that use Tags might behave differently or not work at all. You may need to update them to reflect any changes in the Tags.

1.14 gets an update because I don't want to leave it with a buggy major feature. This is the last release of Inventory Profiles Next for Minecraft 1.14.x

Known Issues in Forge 1.17.1 due to missing MixIn support

  • Preventing swipe moving of locked slots doesn't work.
  • Preventing item pickups in empty locked slots falls back to the server method i.e. items are picked into the inventory and then thrown out.

  • Fixed problem in Forge mods that made sorting impossible if the inventory/container has more than 1 enchanted item with same enchants, same item type, and same name and items were arranged in specific way.
  • Added hotkey for reloading the mod configurations. It's recommended that it's only used while defining new custom rules and kept unset in other situations.

  • Fixes locked slots behaviour when changing dimensions/worlds. There is new config that allows the user to control how many client ticks need to pass before the locked slot keeper is reinitialised on dimension/world change. Known issues

  • When UI scaling is more than 2 or in case of tiny game windows the config screen might not show the anchor header correctly.
  • If you make the game window 0x0 pixels while the configuration screen is open, sometimes the game crashes.
