For MVP, suppliers should sell physical products. However, down the road, we should have functionality like the following.

Suppliers can sell physical, shipped products (typical online store), virtual products (ebooks, software) or services (e.g. nannies, homework help).

Need to investigate what, if any, changes would need to be made to allow for this.

For example, there wouldn't be a shipping piece for virtual goods, so no shipping emails, shipping management, etc.

I'd be surprised if this hasn't already been solved somewhere in the Spree / Solidus community...just don't know of said solution myself.
