How can I use this with something like a chat component, where content are added after init?

AFAIK, it should just work, independent of the content size. What problem are you facing?

The issue is when the content inside the scrollable content changes, the bar does not adapt to the new content.
The linked PR fixes it. would be nice if you could accept and merge it in.
