chansize parameter exposition

Hello,
In https://github.com/casacore/casacore/blob/master/ms/apps/readms.cc there is the chansize parameter exposed:

  params.create ("chansize", "0",
                 "Number of channels to read jointly; allows channel iteration (0=all)",
                 "int");

I can't find a reference to it in the python interface.
Is there a way to access it or to mimic its behavior with the current python-casacore?
