When the NVMe/TCP support for CEPH is GAed, we need to support 256 host connections. For this to work for me I had to change some parameter values so I won't run out of memory and fail some connections.
I increased the hugepages value from 2048 to 4096:
I also decreased the number of queues from 128 to 8 which is what we use in our NVMe/TCP implementation in SVC. And increase the size of the data capsule:
@epuertat in the current service spec we only have transports and no support for transport_tcp_options configuration option. Should we add this in the service spec also?
@gbregman please, can you provide a sample of the ceph-nvmeof.conf you normally use for your testing? (just to make sure we are covering all the fields from cephadm)
