1- Get consensus on ADR: #2696
2- Implement the decision and fix the content that is currently broken (we are already working on that with @zramsay on branch docs-overhaul).
3- Upgrade docs guidelines to reflect the changes in structure
4- Update website
5- Write the content that is missing (mostly reference)
