Description
I think it could be a beneficial thing to have the GitHub Discussions enabled for this repository.
Why This is Needed
People will always ask questions related to the API here, which at least I think issues aren't suited for.
Having Discussions open would be a beneficial way to answer questions while at the same time collect a lot of answers to questions, which may even result in better/easier finding of those answers, as people won't need to look through both open and closed issues about their problem/question.
In addition would it be a better place now to have feature requests. I for my part always combine issues with either bug reports or something similar and not with feature requests. I would - a t most - connect PRs with that as those are essentialls proposals to change stuff.
Discussions could be way more open for feature requests and general feedback regarding the API (Documentation) without relying on being in a Discord server, with the potential that your message gets lost in a flood of messages from other people (That and the fact that the Discord Developer Server doesn't really have a dedicated channel for discussing feature requests and similar)
Alternatives Considered
The current issue system
Additional Details
Another benefit would be to make announcements and other posts - where people should share their feedback in - and not use Pull requests, like #1307, or issues for that as it could result in many (heated) discussions and only fill someone's inbox who is more interested in the code/documentation changes.
I strongly believe that Discussions in this repository could be a major benefit for us all.

Would be quite nice but then there's servers like Discord API and Discord Developers that are also used for what you're saying.
That's true, but the discussions could be at least be useful for feature requests and (long) conversations regarding them, as issues now seem more fine-tuned for... well... issues (bug reports, reporting wrong/missing info, ...)
Also, not everyone can/will be on those Discord Servers. Be it because they already reached 100 Servers or because they simply don't want to waste a slot for a server they may never talk in or similar.
We have no plans to enable discussions on this repo. We encourage discussion in our Discord server rather than on GitHub, as our moderation and tooling is better equipped to support conversation there.
