I think you should add a notice saying this is an npm module for node.js

in the github repository header description
on top of the README file

... because I find it is not instantly clear, even if node developers like us finally see that relatively quickly.

Also, it could be more visible when a node developer search a solution for rc files (because of search engine look at these places)
