IKEA smart blinds FYRTUR and KADRILJ #1121
Comments
I am afraid we have to wait till Feb 2... |
In few days should hit the stores here. I will buy one for sure. If I am not mistaken they are battery operated, so end-devices |
I'm planning on getting two on 2nd of February. The reasoning for the repeater must be if the blind is not paired with the gateway right? There is no direct control of end-device to end-device without the repeater? |
Without a router. The repeater is definitely needed when you want to control the smart blind standalone, without a hub. However, the coordinator is also a router, so I think/hope you can ditch the repeater if you connect both the remote and the smart blind to deCONZ (or, if possible, to an IKEA hub). |
Ikea told us they where postponed 'till summer due to manufacturing issues and problems with the implementation to the IKEA bridge. I am also very interested in these blinds and hope they are controllable via deconz. |

Still waiting on IKEA... |
According Reddit the release of the blinds might happen in October in the Netherlands: |
In Sweden they will arrive within a month (hopefully) |
End of August in the Netherlands, according to IKEA, see:
|
Hm, they removed the text from the web site... EDIT (Aug 1st) And it's back... still end of August. |
Looks like we need to look at Xiaomi Aqara Rolling shutter motor |
Released today, hopefully this will be integrated fast. I want to buy a few :D |
No custom sizing :/. Too bad. |
In Italy they released the spare battery Braunit only :p |
Should now be available soon. They have appeared on the site in the Netherlands this week; initially it said available on august 18th. I will be buying some fyrturs. |
I've bought them this weekend. If someone can provide me a step by step guide about what I need |
I guess this link is about it. |
I also bought 2 Fyrtur, but I don't know when I will have time to play with them. |
I've gotten two Fyrtur smart blinds today as well. Unfortunately I am running deconz headless, so haven't got access to the GUI, but if theres any other way I might help - just say the word :) |
If you run deconz in docker you can actually enable desktop gui to be viewable over vnc |
I think they are ;) |
I need length 240cm. Ikea sells only 195:/. |
I'm running Deconz as an Addon in Hassio. So I'm affraid I cannot access the gui. |
|
I'm able to login via VNC now. I've pressed the two buttons on the Ikea blinds (step 2). I also set permit join (255). But I don't see any changes in the VNC view. Is there something else I should do? ADDING DEVICES TO YOUR |
@Mimiix "Ikea roleta" 680ae2fffe413606 |
@kimosak It seems to poll the other one "Venkovni roleta" |
@Mimiix The "Venkovni roleta" is another curtain with Zigbee C01 module - no issues with it |
Any news concerning the reporting issue? I am getting mad with removing the battery every day at the 10 blinds I have. Sometimes I do it in the morning and in the evening it is again not working. If any additional logs, debugs are helpful please let me know. Thank you all, Stephan |
Same here... |
@Mimiix Wouldn't it make sense to reopen the issue? It is obviously still present and with the issue open it can be tracked and does not fall behind. |
The problem is that it works for others. Also, re opening would instantly close as the template isn't used. I've asked manup to check here. |
I see. Thanks for helping and involving manup again 😃 |
Just chiming in to let you know I am following this thread. I have intermittent issues with the control of 3 Ikea FYRTUR devices too. Taking out the battery and 'rebooting' the blind has always worked until now to get them working again, but this is of course not ideal. |
@dresden-elektronik seems strange that you have not chimed in? |
well, one thing that seems stange is that i can only add switches, lights and remotes.... ikea do offer more than those products but still the webui do not offer an add roller blind option i could add a forum post, but what gurantee are there that it would make a difference of course its not a bug, but since the roller blinds have been for sale this long i would almost say its a bug its missing from the add function in phoscon either way.... what forum? |
@boelle That's a Phoscon issue :) Feel free to bug report it to Phoscon. You can add it under "lights". |
yeah, but that is not correct, yes i can set the "light" the % open the blind should be but it just feels wrong and new users will miss that |
Feel free to post here |
think i will take a pass on that offer as i would have to create yet another account for a one time use only but i think @manup should consider adding more devices to phoscon so that people add what they real want to add and not a "fake" light. its a cosmetic thing yes, but more user friendly |
@boelle You can sign in with Github. Either way, this is not about phoscon(here). Their support is on the forum. |
Just a feeling I have: The blinds connected to an Osram Smart+ plug seem to work way more stable than the other blinds, which are connected to different Ledvance LED bulbs. I can't really prove it, but it is my current feeling. I also went through other issues related to this one and found a post of @ebaauw reporting that his blinds worked stable after putting them in a dedicated network (#4535) But since I can't tell the blinds to which router they should connect to, I don't know if this helps us in any way. For sure I don't want to setup a second network in parallel. |
I had to change Lift Percentage to a value and then hit exec in deconz-ui. And now everything works again. |
can you edit lift percentage to tell it what 100% closed is, as current the blind is too long and just keeps going. |
You need to set the limit using the physical buttons on the blind, see the manual. This function isn't exposed over Zigbee, so nothing we can do. |
Ah ok perfect will have a look at that I should have RTFM to start ;) thank you |
@ebaauw When I try to edit the Current Position - Lift attribute I receive UNSUPPORTED_ATTRIBUTE Error... |
Hello, can you show the complete request ? |
@wilferrel and? |
Hi, can we reopen this issue. With one of the latest versions of these software, the support for the "IKEA Fyrtur Blackout Roller Blind" and "IKEA Kadrilj Roller Blind" get lost. We cannot add the ikea blinds to deconz via phoscon app. Thanks. |
Did any-one already get their hands on the IKEA FYRTUR and KADRILJ smart blinds? The are controlled through the TRÅDFRI hub, so deCONZ should be able to support these. Unfortunately, they seem to come only in grey and at fixed (non-adjustable) widths of 60, 80, 100, 120, and 140 cm.
I suspect they're end-devices. There's a note in one of the documents that you need the (included) signal repeater (see #1095) to control the blinds with the (included) open/close remote.
