Hi,
The overall design of the board is great but there are a few points I don't get:
Why to "gather" the input from the 2.4 and 5.8GHz antennas with a RF switch, then to amplify them and next to split them with a diplexer to finally arrive to the SKY13286 RF switch ? Why not a distinct circuit for both bands, each with its own amplifier, and directly connected to the SKY13286 RF switch?
Why the ADL5602 amplifier at the final stage? Does the whole chain weaken the signal enough so that we need a LNA/PA at the end? And why not a stronger ampli than SBB3089Z instead of two amplis, one at the head the other at the end of the board?
In practice, how many dB does a 2.4 or 5.8 GHz signal loose going through the board?
Thank you very much for the feedback :)
