Very strange font size and color

I know a new client is in the works, but since its not close to ready I want to keep to the original client, but I find the IOS (both iPhone and iPadOS) at least me find the text size and color very strange.

1. The text color in the main window is very small, and it does not respect the override in the os.

2. The high red seems a bit out of place and a harsh color

Is it possible to change the colors on the old client or is it something wrong with my setup?

Then new client (element x) the chat looks much better, but it missing quite many features from what I understand, and it is noticeable very much slower.
