I am not sure what controls this, so we can move this issue to a more appropriate repo if we need to.

We should set the default volume to something like 50% instead of 100%. On any decent speaker system, whether a laptop or desktop, 100% is quite loud out of the box. The first thing that happens when you have a wireless card is a full volume notification saying there are open networks, which is just way too loud right out of the box.

Have to run this command at some point:
pactl set-sink-volume @DEFAULT_SINK@ 50%
