1. What is your project and what existing gap will your project address?
Project Overview:
Our project, "Filecoin Academy: Free Open Courses with Certification," aims to develop a comprehensive series of online courses focused on educating developers and enthusiasts about the Filecoin blockchain. These courses will cover everything from basic introductions to advanced integrations, offering certificates of completion to validate learners' knowledge and skills.
Existing Gap:
Currently, while there is substantial documentation available for Filecoin, there is a lack of structured, interactive, and certification-backed educational resources that cater to different learning levels. Many developers and users find it challenging to navigate the existing resources due to the absence of a guided learning path that combines theory, practical exercises, and validation of skills through certification. This project will fill that gap by providing well-structured, accessible, and engaging learning materials that support both newcomers and experienced developers in mastering Filecoin.
2. How does your project align with our program focus areas?
Tutorial Creation:
We will create step-by-step tutorials and walkthroughs that demonstrate how to use Filecoin APIs, SDKs, and tools for common use cases such as storing and retrieving data, managing storage deals, and interacting with smart contracts.
Comprehensive Developer Guides:
Our courses will include detailed guides that cover various aspects of integrating Filecoin into projects, including setup instructions, API usage, and troubleshooting tips, ensuring developers can easily navigate and implement Filecoin in their work.
Interactive Learning Resources:
The project will feature interactive learning tools, such as code playgrounds and interactive demos, enabling learners to experiment with Filecoin APIs and tools in a practical, hands-on environment.
3. What are the expected outcomes of the project? What steps will you take to meet this objective?
