Some of the specs are broken, I've found a bug on select and judging by #35 it looks like nobody is at the wheel anymore? ¯_(ツ)_/¯.

I intend to use this gem for some pending migrations on production apps, so I'll be happy to fix the specs and the bug, but before putting some time in the PR I'd like to know if it will get applied and the gem bumped.
