Prerequisites

If the following boxes are not ALL checked, your issue is likely to be closed.

  • Using yarn
  • [x ] Using node 16.x
  • [ x] Using an up-to-date master branch
  • [x ] Using latest version of devtools. See wiki for howto update
  • For issue in production release, devtools output of DEBUG_PROD=true yarn build && yarn start
  • [ x] Tried solutions mentioned in #400

Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is.
Pixel8 Pro running Android 14 will not connect to Mac Studio running MacOS 14.0.
Note: Android File Transfer also does not connect

  1. Start openmpt.

  2. plug in phone

  3. Get cannot connect to device error message

  1. Open your Terminal and run the following code:
zip -r -X ~/Desktop/OpenMTP-log.zip "$HOME/Library/Application Support/io.ganeshrvel.openmtp/logs/"
  1. Attach the file OpenMTP-log.zip found in your Desktop folder here.

Or

  1. Open the App,
  2. Click on Help > Report Bugs**. CANNOT do this since USB will not connect**
  3. Generate and send us the bugs report.

For me Android File Transfer works after closing Preview.app, but OpenMPT (M1) gives the error: "An error occurred while setting up the phone"
