Input loses focus after selection from list. Is it possible to keep the focus on the list ?

the input loses focus after the selection is made from the suggested list. Is it possible to keep the focus on the list even after selection ? Thanks

I commented inline to the #100 bug and added some more info. It's close to #100 but not the same.

users usually hit the 'Enter" key after clicking on a result from the dropdown list :
Not the same. I'm using it as part of a hybrid mobile app where the user taps on the item in the list, the result is that the list fade away and the input loses focus
