IKEA have always setting color temp with XY () and all my lights is o current production version.verified by sniffing the Zigbee traffic then paring device to TF).
Anything in the logs that might be useful for us?

If dropping support for XY many light is stop working OK for user and all devices is Zigbee certificated.
