@frrist Discussify doesn't guarantee persistency yet in case there are no peers to serve you the comments data. This is explained in the "disclaimer" part in the description of Chrome Web Store:

Discussions are also only persisted in peers, the people who have previously seen the discussion, meaning that the discussion is only online if at least one of these peers is online. This handicap will be addressed on the MVP milestone (https://github.com/ipfs-shipyard/pm-discussify#mvp).

In order to guarantee persistency, we need to solve peer-base/peer-base#146 (comment).
