Make navbar look nicer on mobile

Hi, first of all, I would like to say thank you for developing this framework. It makes all of this front-end stuff a lot easier for back-end guys like me.

My only slight problem is that, when on mobile, the navbar tends to look very squished. Forgive me if this is a problem with the way I'm doing things, but is there a way to fix this?
