Feature request: maintenance mode

Summary

I think this is such a great plugin, so firstly, thanks for your hard work. Secondly, I have a suggestion/request for a new feature that may fit within the remit of the plugin; a "maintenance mode".

This would be a simple feature that redirects all traffic (excluding some IP addresses) to a "down for maintenance" HTML page. I can see it being very useful to enable this kind of behaviour with one click before deploying changes to a production environment.
