Running into serious memory issues when trying to run GridSearchCV on XGBoost classifier. Recent issues in XGBoost Github shows this is common for other users: dmlc/xgboost#7039

Recommend exploring other option than XGBoost for project to ensure no delays.

Switched to Random Forest instead
