Description

Login is difficult on slower phones.
I'm starting to type my Matrix username @user:server.tld, and (although I'm not an abnormally slow tapper on phones), I failed to log in several times. As soon as I had written @user:ser, FluffyChat would pop up a popup saying that ser is not a valid FQDN.

In the end, I was able to log in, by concentrating on rapid writing.

Maybe run that validation only when the input field loses focus?

To Reproduce

Log out, log in, type username very slowly. Have a laggy phone :)

Additional information:

  • Device: Sony Xperia Z5 Compact
  • OS and OS version: LineageOS 18.1
  • Installed version of FluffyChat: 0.41.3
  • (Android only) Which store are you using: F-Droid
  • (Android only) Are Google Services available: no
