Since a lot of hpc are disconnected from web it will be great help if there is an executable precompiled binary of this tool!

This should be doable – although I think the correct solution would be to ask your cluster admins to install strobealign. As a workaround, it currently works to install strobealign via Conda on a networked machine and then copy the binary to your cluster.

Thank you for entertaining the thought! The network admin route is the most reliable way to do it for sure but the conda installation can be good stop gap solution for now. And an executable binary would let me share the tool much more easily.
