Describe the bug
The STOP button does not stop playback in the notification drawer media widget. It only works if the app is in the foreground. Or if you have pressed pause before. But clicking on the STOP button with the app in the background will just temporarily get rid of the media playback widget but playback will not stop.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to any video.
  2. Start it
  3. Minimize the app
  4. Open the notification drawer on your device
  5. Click Stop on the Media Playback Widget

Expected behavior
The playback should stop. It doesn't. See description.
