Brief description of the feature request

This option would allow the user to have their articles marked as read simply by having them displayed in their article list. They would be able to scroll through their article list and have all articles that get displayed to them marked as read.

This option would be a toggle included in "Tools > Settings > Feeds & articles > Articles list"

+1 for this feature. I was just about to request it. :) To be a little bit more precise, I'd actually like to have my articles marked read even if I just click the corresponding feed in the feed list. The article title wouldn't have to be displayed in the article list. This seems to be subtly different from what was requested originally.

I plan to transition from a read which supports this and it's one little issue among a few others that keep me from switching completely.
