Does this bug already exist in our backlog?

  • I have checked and confirm this is a new bug.

Describe the issue

The CoE Upgrade documentation found at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/guidance/coe/after-setup describes how to upgrade the CoE release.

In the section "Remove unmanaged layers from inventory flows" on that page, there is a numbered list of steps to follow. Step #2 in this list reads: "Select Sync flows from the navigation".

There is no "Sync flows" link in the navigation. However, there are navigation links named "CoE Flows" and "Sync Flow Errors", which make the typo particularly confusing.

The screenshot associated with step #3 of this process indicates that Step #2 should actually read:

"Select CoE Flows from the navigation"

Expected Behavior

The documentation should be updated to reflect the correct links.

Core

What solution version are you using?

coe-gov-june-2024

Steps To Reproduce

Thanks for posting, you are correct its the CoE Flows that should be selected.
Marking as a documentation issue to address.

This documentation bug is affecting documentation that, per Microsoft, all admins for a COE Toolkit installation should be reviewing AT LEAST every 3 months, if not monthly. The fix is to change a single word in the documentation, and you have already confirmed that to be the fix for the bug described in this report. The effort required to implement the fix is trivial.

Throwing this bug report into a "backlog" status shows an amazing lack of consideration for those assigned to work with this software.

Hello. There is one person managing all 12k installs of the kit, and answering all questions posed by then.
Access to update documentation has received new hurdles unfortunately which the broader team is struggling with.
I hear you that its frustrating but I can promise you that there is no lack of consideration of the coe starter kit users at play.
