ctrl+del at end of line removes text to the left of the cursor #3934

The expectation I have is that it deletes the new line and any leading whitespace characters of the next line. I don't recall seeing this in previous milestones, so it seems like a new issue.

Perhaps this is related to changes from #832?

Just found #3882 which has already been triaged. Closing the issue.
