The latest version of pdfium that can be built:
https://github.com/msys2/MINGW-packages/tree/master/mingw-w64-pdfium-git
Is 4 years old and includes a number of serious vulnerabilities, like this one (and many more):
https://thehackernews.com/2019/11/chrome-zero-day-update.html

I have tried to build a newer version but it seems that google changed the way the library is built.
I don't mind doing the work, but will need some help to get started as it seems to be impossible to even clone the project at the moment: MSYS2: impossible to clone pdfium project.

lukas-w/pdfium: PDFium Mirror, updated automatically

This is a mirror in the github, can you try it?

If msys2 can supply the pre-build pdfium library, then I will try the TcT2k/wxPDFView: wxWidgets components to display PDF content with the PDFium library project.

Thanks.

@asmwarrior thank you very much for the pointer, I've switched to using pdfium-binaries - but I wouldn't know how to use this information to update pdfium-git.
pdfium looks like a real beast to build from source!
