I've upgraded my instance to 29.0.5.1 and now Firefox shows the picture just before the one I clicked on. It seems that the correct picture appears when scrolling down somehow. It is weird. I checked in Chromium and there the issue is not occurring.

Same here in Microsoft Edge. Images wrong but if I scroll down the right image is there. After a second the right images is gone. Only a download of the file helps

Same here. I have tried in both firefox and edge. If you scroll down you will eventually see the correct image (at least in my case).

Anybody know which file in the code is the one that displays the image/video? Happy to take a look but a quick glance under src I was not able to figure out where to start.

Same here on Firefox 129.0.1 (64-bit) - linux. More weird is that clicking the photo edit button closes the popup. Click the photo again and I get "There is no plugin available to display this file type" (this I get on both firefox and chromium based browsers).

I cannot see anything in the logs. Using Nextcloud 29.0.5. Checked on 2 different servers. Same issue.

If i clean deeply cache and cookies, Pictures showing one by one Ok first bug is gone, but cannot edit, still same error.

Is someone find a solution it would be appreciated !

Okay, I thought I cleaned out the cookies last time I tried and did not. cleaned cache and cookies again and all is working again.

Ok clearing the browser cache fixes the image display issue. Bu The Photos app does not work when clicking the edit photo. Maybe I should open a new issue about that? Since it is a huge issue.

Edit is also not working for me. But I had never tried it before so I can't say this is new to me. I do notice that after trying to Edit

  1. Click on Photo
  2. Hit the edit icon
  3. goes back to list of photos
  4. click on photo again and get "There is no plugin available to display this file type"
  5. refresh page
  6. can click on and view photos again

Just try to install a fresh docker AIO (29.0.4) ==> same problem...

Nothing in the log.

Broswer trace this when clicking "edit button" but I don't if it's related....

Same issue on my 29.0.6 instance.

@steckerhalter maybe should you add this edit issue in the title please? If not maybe we should open up another issue for it?

@tio-trom I think it's a different issue so it would be better to open up a new issue for that

@steckerhalter Just to confirm, your originally reported matter has been addressed by clearing the browser cache, correct?

Please, reopen this incident again.

After upgrading from 28.0.11 to 29.0.8 I have started to experience the same issue.

When I try to open for view any image (jpeg/png) it is opened. I try to click the edit button, the editor is not opened, but the image is closed. Trying to click on that image again I am getting the error There is no plugin available to display this file type.

Tested with Brave and Firefox. Cleaning the cache is not helpful, as the error is reported in incognito mode.
