Issue
Depending on the previous letter, a holam can can cause problems for the following shin. For example, a lamed with a holam followed by a shin can make the shin appear to have a shin dot. Even worse if the shin has actually has a shin dot as the holam will halfway overlap the shin dot.
I've found issues with lamad and yod so far. I'll update this issue if I find other issues with other letters.
