I've landed on this repo from this thread that hints that perhaps this repo maintains a list of devices which require horizontal or vertical flipping. I quickly browsed the codebase and didn't find such definitions, but perhaps someone can point me in the right direction. My device is a HDMI-USB video capture device (ID 534d:2109 MacroSilicon USB Video) that displays with an incorrect horizontal flip across multiple USB hosts, HDMI video devices and applications. Oddly enough, it displays correctly in "Cheese" application.

Kernels 5.8 & 5.11
Pop!_OS 20.04 & 20.10
Applications with incorrect horizontal flip: Chromium (flatpak), Firefox (.deb), Jitsi (flatpak)

EDIT: found the definitions, still welcoming guidance :)
