I've landed on this repo from this thread that hints that perhaps this repo maintains a list of devices which require horizontal or vertical flipping. I quickly browsed the codebase and didn't find such definitions, but perhaps someone can point me in the right direction. My device is a HDMI-USB video capture device (ID 534d:2109 MacroSilicon USB Video) that displays with an incorrect horizontal flip across multiple USB hosts, HDMI video devices and applications. Oddly enough, it displays correctly in "Cheese" application.
