Store stops listing any packages after viewing the Updates page

cosmic-store-git 1.0.0.alpha.2.r18.g2d4caf5-1

When viewing the Updates page, which is apparently empty because it still doesn't support system installed packages, it fails to show any applications on the rest of the tabs until it is restarted.
