For me, Program Synthesis means "Making a shape of penguin on the board with tangram, given a photo of a penguin".

Long Description (up to 3 sentences)

In program synthesis, we create a program that satisfies the specification using only the given materials (determined by grammar or something). In the picture above, the specification corresponds to 'a shape of penguin', and the given materials corresopond to 'tangram pieces of several colors'.
