This is just another Forth implementation. This time in Go and compiled to WebAssembly.
Forth is such a simple language that it is easy to implement in comparison to other languages. Once the basic commands are defined, the rest is just bootstrapped
One of the best tutorials for the Forth language can be found here
https://www.forth.com/starting-forth/
The heap is the most important data object in Forth. It contains data and code.
Here it is just implemented as an array of interface{}
or any.
heap []any
Just call dump
to see the contents of the heap.
To compile a standalone executable just run
cd src
go build -o forthly
cd ..
otherwise compile it by running ./build.sh
