Hoyo Buddy collects and stores Cookies provided by users to ensure the functionality of commands that require access to the user's information on HoYoLAB. For concerns regarding account security, please refer to the Account Security Page on the Wiki.
Hoyo Buddy collects and stores usage data to improve the quality of the service. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Discord user ID
- User settings (e.g. language, appearance etc.), notification settings, and card settings
- Character level data
- Character data from in-game Showcase and HoYoLAB
- Spiral abyss data (for leaderboard and statistics features)
- In-game statistics (e.g. achievements, exploration progress, etc. for leaderboard features)
- Game account usernames and UIDs
- Last time a command was used by the user (to delete data of inactive users)

Hoyo Buddy collects and stores metrics data to improve the quality of the service. Most data are anonymized and cannot be used to identify a user. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Command usage
- Component interaction usage (e.g. button clicks, dropdown selections, etc.)
- Guild count (does not include guild information and member information)
- Error logs (powered by Sentry, might contain user IDs and data that can be used to infer how you interacted with the bot, only used for debugging purposes)
- Image generation time

Data related to Hoyoverse accounts can be deleted by removing your accounts with the /accounts command. If you want to delete all data related to your Discord account, contact me on Discord.
Hoyo Buddy does not share any information with third parties.
