About Me

I'm Allan from the UK.

I've been coding for the last 15 years but recently took the dive into freelance contract and I wouldn't look back. This allows me to spend time supporting open source projects like Quasar Framework of which I am a core team member and project lead for the Browser Extension mode.

After being in the PHP and .NET scene for 10 years, I moved over to NodeJS 3 years ago as a project I was working on required it - it was a great moment and I love the flexibility the stack offers.

Goals

My current goal is to release an extensible E2E SaaS (Software as a Service) framework using Quasar (Vue) for the front end, NestJS for the backend with Prisma2 and Apollo. It's a stack I'm using in my current contract and I feel that an easy to use SaaS framework would help developers like myself spend less time writing boilerplate and more time writing functional code which revolves around a great user experience!

I've already got a proof of concept over at https://github.com/webnoob/quasar-ts-jest-nestjs-apollojs-prisma2 which I used to get some ideas together and see how the different parts fit together. It's proved itself well and gave me a foundation for getting things going.

How can you support me?

I'd like to spend more time supporting Quasar Framework as well as working on my new SaaS framework. Sponsoring me will allow this to happen.

Note about Tiers - I am purposefully not promising X amount of time per tier for personal help with the reasoning that if I get many sponsors (wishful thinking ;) ) I might not be able to fulfill my obligations. However, the time I can offer you is respective of the tier you select. That being said, if you're on the lowest tier, need help and I have time - I will endeavor to provide it :)
