See related bridgestan issue here. Essentially, there's often precision issues because of the fixed constraint tolerance here. As @WardBrian suggested, it would be quite nice if this was configurable in any way so the tolerance could be lowered to avoid running into errors as the default precision for cmdstan is e-6.
