I got a link to this repository from an older forum post you made. I have a 2008 Pontiac Solstice that I have been working on. I am trying to being it up to speed in the technology department.

Needless to say I need to "hack" the HSCAN and the SWCAN in the vehicle. I am trying to collect as much information as I can on the data systems in this car. I have DBC files got gm global a but from my readings that is different from what this vehicle has. If there is any information you are willing to share I would appreciate it greatly.

Here is the old low speed bus bible: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qEwOXSr3bWoc2VUhpuIam236OOZxPc2hxpLUsV0xkn0

Most of that was based on Holden/Pontiac G8s.

And I have an updated repo here with some newer pids on the Global A stuff. I have tested that stuff on 2009 Caddy CTS and a 2016 Caddy CTS.

I have seen the GMLAN bible and to be honest it is hard to figure out what is going on and there are not many items in it. I wasn't sure of you had anything else or maybe some personal experiences you could share.

2009 was Global A???

I wonder if the 2008 Solstice might be based on global A. I can't find any information about the GM Protocol that is being used on my vehicle.
